GENERAL INFORMATION
2025 Strand Schedule- 2026 Schedule coming soon.
REGISTRATION OPTIONS AND COSTS
Participants can choose to register for resident or commuter rates.
Resident Rates
Resident rates include housing in South Campus Resident Halls. Sheets and towels are provided. All meals (Sunday dinner through Thursday lunch) are included with resident packages. Please note these are college dorms and will not provide the same level of accommodations as a hotel.
For double occupancy rooms, you may indicate your roommate request on your registration. If you do not have a request, a roommate will be assigned.
Single occupancy bedrooms (with shared bathrooms) are available for an additional cost. If you prefer a single bedroom, please register early as space is limited.
Suitemates can not be guaranteed but we will try to accommodate requests when possible.
We have a limited number of handicap-accessible rooms available. Please let us know if you have a medical condition or disability that requires special housing considerations.
Commuter Rates
Commuter rates are for those who will be driving in daily or choosing to book their own accommodations in a hotel.
A limited number of discounted rooms are available at the Graduate Hotel, Storrs. This hotel is steps from campus housing. If you are staying at the Graduate Hotel, will not need to add parking to your registration as it is included with your hotel stay. If you are driving in from home or another hotel, you will need to add parking to your registration. A booking link for the hotel will be available on the registration site.
Commuter packages can be purchased with all meals, lunch only, or no meals.
All registration pricing can be found here. Rates are locked in at the time of registration. Payments or purchase orders must be received by June 30th. If you are registering after June 30th payment or purchase orders are due at the time of registration.
GROUP DISCOUNT
Groups of 8 or more who register together from the same school or district will automatically receive a 10% discount. Groups must register by May 30th.
REFUND POLICY
Cancelations must be received by July 1 and a $50 cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations after July 1, 2025 will receive a 50% refund of total registration costs.
